Yer, reckon we might get a stray storm...most likely a thundery shower, after about 12. Storms are forming more north of the main lot but they are going up and down quickly so it will be luck if we actually do get one, but please fellow men and ladies, clutch every straw grin

Yep, Isolated Thunderstorms extending East to be North of KROWS/YNRC after 14z..... Good good, let the storms flow through you Adelaide poke

couple of strikes up near Crystal Brook and another storm on Nth EP now.... up in that area is actually the best instability on the models.

Hi, today has been really awful afternoon. Thick smoke at Marion where I was today and then now tonight easterly wind starts again and smoke still continue to push in from Vic burn off. The visibility at Marion today was down to 500m! Shocker! It made my nose runny like hell and had to take anti histamine when got home which took while for it to work. Still a smoke hazard in Adelaide tonight to be continue so good idea leave windows shut overnight as its not a healthy way to breath in carbon monoxide. I dunno if it still bad outside but a while ago I did noticed still bad enough.

Good observation there Naththo, yeah it would've been bad at Marion, will be sleeping with a shut window tonight, cheers for the headsup! smile

As for the weather..well, most strikes are up north a bit to far for us, and i think we don't really have a chance any more..maybe a rumble with some of this stuff coming across the gulf if you're really really lucky but yeah.... There's always Wednesday which is looking quite good.

Saturday

Possible chance of a rumble in the early hours (As said up there) but should wake up to a few showers hanging around, should clear in the afternoon to a mostly sunny day.

Bom- 19c
My forecast- 19c

Cheers

An interesting area of instability showing up around 3-5am this morning between the Mid North-Barossa and say down to Swan Reach area.... will definitely be worth keeping an eye on.

Didn't even notice smoke up in the N burbs today.

Layer of Ac/As all day thickening late, had some unstable areas. But to me it is patchy rain and isolated brief high-based thunderstorms, the latter chiefly N of say Clare but we are a wee chance. Don't hold your breath or anything but I'll take a rumble. Lean pickings ATM.

Yeah I'm not hoping up for can't see much happening around anymore. Storms have died off in the west and most lightning active is to the north. Ah well. Next system please in queue!

Nath - we were never expecting anything before the early hours of the morning!
BOM itself have forecasted storms only in the early hours.

The area of instability as I mentioned was in that area up north, this then moves SE by 3-5am to be positioned more around the Mid north... this is when we have a better chance. Whatever small chance that might be.....

Deep booms and flashes to west. Not bad considering it aint the strongest instability over us. Jet working well again.

I should also make a note that I am AGAIN at my parents tonight. I've only stayed here twice since moving back from Darwin, once last week and then now. Both nights have had storms. What are the odds?!? Should stay here more often.
