Quite chilly around Sydney this morning, with many stations in the west falling below 10c. I think it might be a case of enjoy it while it lasts, summer will undoubtedly bring many warm sticky nights...

At Stanwell tops for the weekend looks like some high based storms are building. With some radar activity south of Nowra.

Hi Eddy good to see you’re finally getting a tiny bit of talent with the camera, took a while 😂😂

I had to work in Sydney Wed to Friday this week, flew in from Bx early, by the living Harry it was muggy for a country boy!!!

We could not move with all our clothing stuck to our skin . Us bathurstians loved the cool dry change that came through after it. Much better 😁👍👍
The 14mm at home freshened the green again, nice😁😎

Hope all you lot are going well 👍👍

Welcome back Dave.

It was very pleasant today. I was in the Richmond area earlier. It was mostly sunny to start with, but clouding over in the afternoon. It was warm and dry with light winds, about 24-25 on the car thermometer. There were small, bubbly convective clouds about in the late morning and early afternoon, mini cauliflowers, but they came to nothing. Back home now, it's cool and fairly clear (anything less than 21 is "cool").

It's all very nice and green in the Hawkesbury now. The dams I saw looked fairly full. The jacarandas about town are looking great. We're probably close to peak Jacaranda. The season was late-starting and now the green is already pushing through.

I don't like muggy heat either!

Dry heat with an authentically potent Western NSW UV index is my type of summer weather, alongside plenty of thunderstorms. Just like much of the Tablelands and Western Slopes.

I can't even feel the sun when down in Sh*tney crazy sick

Another boring stable weekend is complete with no storms to chase within 3500kms...Gone are the days where November was the month to rely on for storms atleast somewhere in NSW or southern QLD. All we get now is a weekly cycle of dirt southerly winds one day usually a Thursday, and either southeast or northeast winds the following 3 days followed by 2 decent warm days,as the warmer air finally mixes into the northeast winds, usually a Monday Tuesday, and then 1 day with marginal instability but still little or no storms usually a Wednesday, and then repeat cycle. It is depressing. My only decent storm this "season" occurred in July. Today was fine and sunny here min of 9 max of 24, some scattered cloud on the ranges, pleasant humidity, sea breezes, plus 4 lifted index, yawn.

The BoM has downgraded the amount of rain for the Sydney area this Wed'/Thu', not that there was all that much in the original forecast anyway. Max on Thursday for my area is now 6mm...

Low 20's and a NE sea breeze, and it's sunny. How exciting.

Still getting quite cool nights though which is kind interesting I guess. Last night was 10.5 and the two before were single digits.

Watching models closely as i start holidays on Friday 16/11. So far all the models have done is retreat further from any activity near a sealed road or a decent 3 day setup.

By the time next run comes out storms will be Alice Springs. WA next.

I am sured GFS is programmed by some cruel boffin that gets kicks from having weather chasers get excited only to slowly whittle the scenario back to stability.

Nice click Eddy

Syd forecast starting to resemble mid-autumn from about Wed onwards - cloudy, E/SE'ers, chance of some showers with maxes in the low to mid 20s.

lol I thought after the 'relatively' nice weekend we had things may be moving in the warmer direction, guess I was wrong there. Looking good rain-wise for the inland again, ext-GFS keeps the wet going. I got a feeling the storm season will really get going late month/early Dec.

Kind of glad I haven't had the time to go surfing lately.

That sea gale has been going since about noon today and been getting progressively stronger. This looks to be about the last of the sun as well before the cloud takes over, bit of good follow up for the west of the state. Minimums dropping to 13C in the western burbs next week

That sea gale was horrendous running north over the Harbour Bridge this evening. It felt like I was barely making progress
