Huge effort WWW. Great comp and many thanks for running it. Congrats to the podium (who basking in sunshine clearly have plenty of time to study the form... LOL)
Most memorable stat..... Rocky handing us (Cairns) our butt when it came to rain.
Most memorable quote .... "I beat Popeye".

Well done to the winners and thanks again WWW for your efforts. I believe my problem this year LL and Boomer was that I didn't open that 2nd bottle of red. One bottle made my guesses carefully thought out. The second bottle of red would have blurred all thought processes and had me in with a good chance especially in a year when the Northern Tropical season was all over the place. burp! Better start training now. Burp!

Wow - just missed the podium. Congrats to the winners - well deserved by all of you.

Thank you also to the generous folk supplying prizes this year. Things, I will most happily accept a consolation prize - handcrafted with skill and attention to detail my key new key chain will take pride of place in the key bowl I'm sure.

I've been in touch with Nathaniel about claiming his prize. Would the 2 runners up please PM me also and we'll discuss what we can do in terms of some sort of consolation prize given the closeness of the final result.

Congratulations to all the winners and a huge thank you to WWW. The tropics comp has been a highlight of this very dull year. Better start polishing up my (non existent) forecasting skills in preparation for August 1.
