Well it's that time of the year again when things start getting warmer so I thought I'd start this thread with a couple of relevant photos.

The first one is of spider webs draped across the still-bare branches of my Red Maple tree on a quite still foggy morning in Brisbane.

The 2nd one is dew glistening on the new spring leaves on my English Oak tree, again in southside Brisbane:

Nice photos Seabreeze. They almost look like some tropical island somewhere.

Here's another pic of the new spring leaves on my oak tree, this time with a lot more fine dew on them glistening in the early morning sun:

Great pictures everyone.

The Jacarandas have been in full bloom around Sydney for a couple of weeks now, about 3 weeks earlier than usual.

I haven't contributed in a while but here are a few from SA.

This one from down at Hallett Cove

Cropping fields on the Blyth Plains a couple of months back, brilliant crop.

And one from West Beach in Adelaide

Pugh's Lagoon, about half a kilometre out of Richmond, NSW, on a beautiful early Summer afternoon. Sunny and about 24 degrees and very green after a wet November:

A popular picnicking and fishing spot, brimming with bird life.

A long time between posts for myself, but truth me told I haven't been out with the camera for quite awhile, given the extreme temps we've been experiencing this summer and a lack of time.

Anyway here's a couple of recent shots.

Beachside cricket. Randwick vrs Wests at Randwick. I'd been walking the Great South Coast Track and ended up at a Sydney Grade cricket match ... I needed a rest. A top way to finish the day.

Monty the Python, bowling. In the two day match Panesar's figures were 1/35 and Mitchell Starc took 7/58. Get fit Mitchell Australia needs you?

Warren.

Got some motivation to get the 7D out over the weekend after purchasing a set of Cokin Grad Filters recently. Headed down to Boulder Beach near Lennox Head to try and capture the sunrise which promised to be spectacular with a deck of Altocumulus crossing the sky. I've just set up a Flickr account (moved away from Photobucket) so will be gradually adding photos there over the next few months

Those are really good pictures Markus, I think they would look even better with an ND filter.
