Whats EC got in store? Weatherzone app has some rain coming next Thursday into the weekend I'm guessing that will change tho. Had a sprinkle here late last nite.

Happy Birthday Chookie.

SWMBO has seen the OCC Facebook posts and is a tad concerned but not terribly so. In fact she seems almost excited about a cyclone. I must be a bad influenced or something. Lol

now the game is over on tv!
congrats to the Townsville Fire, back to back GF's against Bendigo. Hopefully this time we set the record straight and extract some revenge!!

meanwhile, BOM aren't interested in extending our forecast beyond a few showers all week. going by the comments in the ext outlook they are expecting the system to remain weak and cross the coast north of cairns. not giving us much rain at all.

Morning all! A balmy 23C here last night - lovely smile

So this low looks like being another disappointment... Every time I look at the update it changes - so frustrating!

happy birthday rwmd, hopefully we get some of those showers later on this morning.
looks like one of two scenarios happening now.
low/tc stays weak, moves wsw crosses cooktown to Townsville, the system develops stronger moves sw then se away with out any rain.
