9.6 mm since 6pm last night,
Honestly, the Bureau are embarrassing themselves with the "Isolated Thunderstorms" part, just say a possible rumble or two.

Hopefully by the time I get back from Elizabeth to book an appt for my L', should have 15 mm if we're lucky.

3.5mm until 710am this morning with a black wall to the west about to hit at that time. Few minutes later, bucketing down on Grange & South Roads as I drove to work.

There is nothing wrong with the term isolated thunderstorms. It means exactly that, and is what is occurring. Isolated means infrequent & sparse. In fact if you add the word possible as you suggest, it means more likely than isolated.

Must have been the southern side as there was no hail on North Terrace. Just heavy rain.

Yep, brief hail on South Terrace that quickly turned to heavy rain, at about 8:10

This is fantastic rain. It's almost like a proper start to winter. These sorts of days are my absolute favourites. And wowee look at that cold air coming up from the south.

Huge amounts of moisture streaming up Spencer Gulf and turning more SSW now. The more northern areas of the gulf and southern Flinders totals could be rather impressive if it maintains, certainly ACCESSR progging some very high numbers. Even some thunderies earlier on in it so no doubt some locally heavy rain and hail.

City (Rundle st) Just copped a minute or two of pea sized hail. Loud as anything on the roof.
