Good luck up north TESHUB. You will be missed in the CC and W thread as a regular and valued contributor.

It has been quiet here of late. Not much has been happening weather wise I guess, but today has been lovely and rainy in town. I'm home today so I get to enjoy it! Lucky me smile

Disappointing the line of convective shower and storm activity staying just off shore.

We've had light drizzle on and off all day for 0.8mm! That heavy stuff needs to come in a bit closer.

All the best TESHUB. Is Mossman your new location?

Good compilation WWW, you must have spent hours syncing the music with the weather lol. Good stuff mate. smile

Been a while since I've been on here! What a great surprise to hear some thunder this afternoon on the way home from work grin Some pretty decent instability about in the upper atmosphere thanks to the upper level trough.. could be some more rumbles until tomorrow night before the upper trough finally departs out to sea. 9mm here in Rural View from this afternoons storm

Not much rain here overnight, just the odd light shower. Totals are the same both at MtJulian and Prossy Mill.

Last day: 1.4mm
Event: 21mm

I'm back using the nylex at Mt Julain. The Davis's console/receiver lost power so haven't been able to record any data for a number of weeks apart from a odd time power came back on for a couple of hours. I ordered another one from Scientific Sales in the US and when it arrived last Friday I opened up the package and found a badly damaged screen and couldn't use it either. To Scientific Sales credit, they've agreed to send another one, and I'll return this one.

32.6mm of rain for the 24hrs to 9am today in Bucasia following yesterday afternoon's thundery rain. Had about half a dozen CG (Cloud to Ground) and CC (Cloud to Cloud) lighting strikes occur within about a 7km radius.

Poured out another 16.2mm just then for 49.4mm for May so far. My average for May over 20 years is 94mm.

Interesting stats RR. Just had a quick tally of mine.....
31.8mm = 24hrs to 9am (Bucasia)
74.6mm = Month-to-date (Bucasia)
88.6mm = May Average (Beaconsfield from 2001 to 2013)
