Albion Park still has a big fat zero in terms of rainfall for the last few days and today was no different, it was just cloudy with a few drops of rain and cold southerly winds.

Impressive onshore flow setup for the eastern/north-eastern suburbs.

Here at Gladesville it has been occasionally spitting but nothing more.

I worked at Roseville today and it pretty much drizzled all day, with periods of heavier showers. I later went to another job at West Ryde and the boys told me they hadn't had a drop. A perfect example of how much wetter the north shore is compared to the western suburbs, yet there is what 10-15 km's difference?
And West Ryde is more south of Roseville than west I believe.
That wind was pretty chilly though.

Well it ended up being a reasonable afternoon, very little rain and all 88 golfers finished their rounds, no sooner did they finish the heavens opened up.
4.7mm for the 24 hrs to 9am this morning, 39.9mm since 9am.

It looks like the rain is on a clearing trend now, so it will probably be a mostly fine day here tomorrow, with possible short breaks of sunshine and those cold southerlies again.

And sounds like perfect timing there Eddy smile

Well, what a nice sunny morning it has been but I don't reckon it will last long. As soon as the wind turns southerly or SE'ly, the cloud will come rolling in.

I'm going camping in the Heathcote National Park for the next couple of days so I hope the conditions aren't too bad.

Ended up with 52.8mm in the 24 hrs to 9am, that fall is so far the highest daily fall for the year.
Very cool with those blustery southerly winds, currently 16.2, just a few light drizzly patches about atm.

Had a brief shower at about 2pm at Swansea which lasted a few seconds. Fantastic falls yesterday at Norah Head. Looks pretty gloomy out to sea off Swansea Heads. If wind gets a bit more east in it some more cloud juice in the offing. Been chilly too. Great stuff

Keep an eye on that sneaky cold pool tomorrow with 500hPa temps around -24C or colder and the southerly. Could be some small hail up high on the tablelands etc.

lol. So it must have got to 19. Even though Canberra and Goulburn only got to 15 and 13.7 respectively. and you are 300 mtrs higher than them.
So let's check some places that are 300 mtrs higher.....

Cooma - 11.6.
Orange - 12.6
Bathurst - lower at 600 mtrs - 14.3
Mudgee even lower at 300 mtrs - 17.6

Nerriga - 14.7
Braidwood - 14.2.

Even some Sydney suburbs struggled to get to 19 today, like the airport, Terry Hills and Canterbury.

19 eh?
OK.

You just can't help yourself, can you? Back to your nasty little little habits. I quoted you message in case you go back and change it.

Why do you attack and belittle other people, "Homer"? What is that all about? Want to be king of the forum? How pathetic.

Not trying to belittle or attack anyone. I just doubt it got to 19 on your ant hill today. And I provided figures to prove otherwise.
King of the forum? lol. Defensive much?

Now now you two, lets keep the boxing gloves in the garage. All I know is that the cold pool Bliz was talking about seems to be moving up the coast and that cell to the ESE out to sea is letting some sparks out.
Reading 12.7c here atm and no wind at all.
