3.2 degrees minimum here in Gladesville with a light frost hanging on till about 8:30AM when the sun melted most of it. Temperature picked up rapidly though as the wind increased.

Thats cold Ron, look forward to seeing your website!!

Well the NW winds never ever really got going today, light NW in the morning gave way to a fresh NE breeze in the arvo. Currently wind is calm.

Wind currently outa the NNE and blustery. Approaching from west is a bank of cloud that has now covered the sinking sun. Got to 21 at Nobby's ahead of this system. Bit cooler morrow.

BOM was 28 minutes late updating their forecast for Sydney. That's fine, but the forecast for the remainder of today says "mostly clear".
Have they NOT looked at the radar in the past half an hour?
Fair dinkum.

Bom had forecast 20 for Newcastle today several days ago but changed it to 19 for some reason and it hit 21. Pin the tail on the weather

Lol, I guess not smile

Very cold and rainy here now, the cloud bank came over just past 4pm and swallowed the blue sky amazingly quick. Got to 19C with a seabreeze most the day.

Quite a sharp shower here in Randwick and more to west on radar. But Sydney forecast still not updated. Not often see Sydney forecast for 'clear skies' and it starts to rain, they usually do a quick amendment.

Since no rain for like a month, tonights moderate shower and blustery wind conditions is quite exciting, its all relative right, and even more enjoyable with a mostly clear forecast, quite a nice band actually, it was mod/heavy for a few mins, and has been going for 20mins now, wind really gusting up now, rain drops blasting the side windows in the origin big screen tv den.
Edit, heavy again, more than before, awesome stuff

More than 2 hours after showers started entering the basin, they update the forecast.
Just clueless they are.

The rain was a bit of a surprise. There were showers along the M1(F3) and Northern Sydney as I returned from the Central Coast, including big drops. Not much but enough to wet the road and make things slippery after a long dry spell.

Regarding the forecast ( or should that be 'aftcast'?), it's now been updated.

I note that High Range now appears in the table of observations for the Central Tablelands.

Wind has got up a bit from WNW. Quite gusty. A few drops of rain earlier, not enough to wet the bald spot. Still warm at 16 . Suprised no thunder. Pretty.lacklustre stuff. Break in the footy so might stick head outside and feel the breeze.

Footy resumed. The wind has backed right off. This was meant to be a cold front right? Cant believe how mild the temp feels. Bizarre

High Range is on the Wombeyan Caves Road (or close to it) about half way between Mittagong and Taralga.
