seeing decent cells to our SW at the moment, be nice to be around mingela at the moment, though i can imagine the structure wouldnt be crash hot, looks messy.

Yeah Id imagine that those cells are very low topped, probably around the 20,000 feet mark. At least those areas that generally miss out on rain north of mingela and south of mingela are getting a drop. Might put some runoff into the upper reaches of the Haughton.

As I said this morning, the ranges to our NW were always going to have a go.

looks like this upper trough is going to be just that little bit too south, just a fraction to worry us too much, seems you draw a line about giru to the towers and southwards, mackay radar is awesome.

Light showers at Rasmussen at 11.45am this morning. Stuff all in it. Didn't quite wet the footpaths.

Wife put the aircons on yesterday. Just to see if they still work and for me to reclean the filters I cleaned the last time they were used in March.

Sigh it has already started. Its too hot, its too humid. Yes we have only been here 20 years and she is still not used to the weather.

Just go down to Giru if you want fog, it's like that most nights. Nothing in sight storm wise, hurry up already.
