Few scuds starting to show up inland more in our path now. Those ones just off the coast though, what a complete bloody tease!

looking at the big picture, one has to be really happy with this event. only a drop in the ocean for those farmers out there, but that drop is a start.

back in townsville, well its obvious its our turn! south of burdekin had some nice rain this morning.

From my understanding Townsville should see it's opportunity this afternoon.

Don't know about only a drop in the ocean Mick. Surely the monthly totals by the end of dec are going to be pretty substantial for the drought stricken areas of the state? Storms have been pretty constant for the last few weeks out there.

Atmosphere now slowly recovering.

Its very stable. This is what we want though. The cap will break, it wont need heat, its all happening upstairs.

All is going to plan, its a SE QLD set up

nice cell popping up west home hill. a sign of how fast these cells can pop up. that area was just north of this morning band of storm cells.
