More showers again this morning, wind in the complete opposite direction AND it looks like it's building. Now this is wet season weather grin

What about Isa, round 175mm in last 3 or 4 days, good for them and badly needed.

Some cars parked near the mine in "No Parking" area with water up to windows.

Why was the sign there, because it floods..... not good for them but overall excellent rains and giving every indication of getting a fair dinkum Wet Season.

Fantastic falls out West!

As Mick says though, they really need decent follow up rain in the next few weeks or so, which I'm sure will happen.

Still some scattered activity along the coast, mostly moving on shore around the Northern beaches and further North.

OCF is showing an improvement in conditions as the week goes on, though there is still the potential for a few showers here and there.

I'm actually surprised how far these showers are penetrating inland! Like you say Mick, the flow is quite moist so there's a good chance we'll see more showers as the day goes on.

Horseshoe Bay has been dumped on quite a few times today by squalling winds and rain, typical wet season weather here......supposed to clear up tomorrow.

Been following the South Pacific ... has dropped 3 degrees of latitude since flagged plus barometric pressure slowly dropping - maybe will push the monsoon trough lower???? Anyone any thoughts??

hey Rhubarb, the models have been forecasting this low for a little while now with slow development and then a gradual push south or south east but not threatening qld. and yes it should move the MT south as you say.
