Very very close with 1.9 degrees and snow at Kaoota, has snowed and settled below 300m with that last shower.
Family at Oyster Cove have a light dusting at 300m

Winds are light atm, only 8 kmhr.

Tomorrow has 50-70kmhr winds from the SW to West could get some very nice blowing snow and snow drifts at Leslie Vale.

An old local told me of this happening here before and their car getting stuck in a snow drift 50cm high.

I should have gone the other way SF, as there was a little light snow falling on the way to Fern Tree, and settling on the road side.
Mt is closed at gate 1
Its pretty wet in Kingston, but starry skied

Showers are missing us!!!!! 3.3 degrees.

Oyster Cove at 300m has 1cm but is melting a bit.

Why is it so warm?

Finshed that shower with 1.3mm, 4.1 degrees, models have 850TMPS dropping another 3 degrees tonight starting around 1am, if there are any showers around we might see a few flakes in the top half of Burnie.

850TMPs were forecast to be -4/-4.5 from 4pm until midnight, won't see another cooling off until after that. But another 3 degrees to drop by 4am.

No shower activity here in Kingston. Apparently some odd flakes at Mt Nelson, but nothing to write home about.

Thought it had gone a bit quiet, went to the backdoor and much to my delight...

Got 1-2 cm on the BBQ plate, lawn has a white blanket smile

Getting intermittent light snow falls.

Might have to stay up for this one grin

There is normally a slight warming before a trough approaches in the cold air stream as the winds swing a bit more NW and and then drop after the trough as the winds swing W/SW
