Come on Darwin, where is this storm?? So called storm capital of Australia and can't even get a cell within 100ks in November, cripes even Alice Springs and Birdsville had a storm yesterday!! poke

Q6 The lowest pressure attained by the first Australian named cyclone (in hPa) --> 982hPa
Q7 The date Townsville records its first 50mm+ daily rainfall total --> 23rd March
Q8 The date the monsoon arrives to the Australian mainland --> 20th March
Q9 The date the first land-falling Tropical Cyclone crosses the Australian mainland --> 5th March

OK, I have confirmed a storm was indeed recorded at Darwin airport yesterday afternoon!

Congrats to SimmoFNQ and EddyG for nailing it to the date!

I had a discussion in mid October with someone that lives up there and she reckoned it would go off before the comp started. I threw a whacky one out just incase they missed the centre for a couple of weeks and had a fair inkling many would go November 1st . Sometimes you have to take risks Bello smile
