Not a huge fan of Turny but have to take my hat off - http://www.malcolmturnbull.com.au/dog-blog/eulogy-for-mellie

I'm a sucker for dogs (like 99% of the population) - can't help like him a little even if it was aimed to do exactly that.

I also like how he puts some weight in 'science' - just didn't seem like it factored into Tonys worldview? Always found it VERY hard to get past that.

I'm sick of Labor, Libs frown Surely we can do better? So much bs it just disgusts me.

Started reading Andrew Bolt's blog a couple times a week...reading the articles and the comments makes me sad. Why can't we work together?

It turns into a doctrine that splits people - no thinking for themselves on individual issues just the 'crazy left', or 'crazy right' going for each others throats on any little thing...opponent looked at as almost sub-human.

It's the sad reality of the world we live in. There are not many 'journalistic' sources i can think of that are unbiased. Whether it be televisions, radio or newspaper.and certainly not on the independent side of things. And all they do is divide on ideological lines.

Someone has to I suppose. I can't believe his show is still on TV. It must be funded by the LNP at a loss.

He's entitled to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. One of the women has been charged with trying to blackmail him. Right now he is being used by the LNP to try and bring down the labor party.

He should have been forced out back in march when it was learned that he had failed to disclose his past criminal history ...by the same token,Bronwyn Bishop should have been dumped immediately once her indiscretions were found out..they need to be honest and accountable..but thats a joke..

Neither Bishop nor Gordon could be dumped.

Agreed it would be nice for honesty in parliament but it's a pipe dream.

Ok, tonight I am planning a campaign on the feds again. I have been playing with numbers on the Centrelink estimator.

I have discovered that a family earning $120000 per year with 2 teenage children is entitled to rent assistance. Their fortnightly payment would be $155.26.

A family on the same income, same kids probably paying more in mortgage payments plus the other costs of buying a home would get $3.64.

Why the difference? Why are we paying anyone on that amount rent assistance. Don't believe me, try playing with figures yourself.

No wonder the country is bankrupt.

Because this country celebrates victimhood. And if you earn 120K AND own(and I use that term lightly) a house then you cant cry victim. If however you can say you are renting then there is no asset value and one can pretend they are doing it tough and the better organised will pay your way for you. The hard working that are willing to make short term sacrifices pay the way of the lazy short sighted fools. And it will only get worse I am afraid

No surprises here. Shorten is a ball and chain for labor and Turnbull is a massive improvement over Abbott. He can string more than 3 words together for starters and is prepared to work with the states. So who to replace Shorten? Albo or Tanya?

I'd say that until they get some members who are not union aligned or who have actually spent time in the real world, as opposed to being professional uni students or lawyers etc then whoever replaces shorten is irrelevant.

Yeah but the adults were in charge Doug wink Turnbull is certainly looking more like a PM than that other clown ever did. Now he is apparently going to become a speaker on the world stage.

Labor supporters would love to talk about a hole temporarily back filled for OH&S reasons because it takes the focus off their own rotten stinking mess...

Did you know that Labor in Queensland has actively voted down TWO pieces of legislations aimed at domestic violence prevention and intervention? Why, because they're LNP ideas... Bravo! How many more victims of DV do there need to be before they come round? Oh and speaking of respect for women, what Billy Gordon has done and continues to do is disgusting and the ALP in Queensland condones the lot. What a pillar of virtue... hold on a minute, going to switcheroo the Queens Birthday/Labor Day long weekends because that was obviously a line that was crossed but having women and children being killed or beaten black and blue is fine... or how about having a serial genital posting misogynist propping up your minority government, well that's ok too.

Pathetic.

Your absence whilst your mate Abbott went from one screw up to the next and destroyed is duly noted laugh

Hiding until the Coalition finally rectified the issue and rebounded in the polls.

Pathetic.
