Thanks Kizz, that looks very cold! I'm going to Coffs for a week soon - hopefully the upwelling stays away from there (hopefully it does given it moved south to Sydney?).

Playing tennis on Tuesday night was stupid. Don't think I've ever played in such hot weather (~30c) at that time of the night. After 3 hours I was very dead - wouldn't have minded walking into those frigid waters at all smile

Nice pic Eddy, looks almost like a winter sky!

Luckily for you the water is pretty warm up there at present (around 24C) http://new.mhl.nsw.gov.au/data/realtime/sst/CoffsHarbour

And yes really nice picture Eddy.

Well today is once again sunnier than expected with lengthy sunny breaks throughout the day and a cool easterly breeze.

I hear you Ben!! smile

Eddy - lovely course. smile

Like Homer but I would be in the camel grass but on the left (I tend to hook).

Then I would promptly land in the camel grass just before the green.

Might take a couple of shots to get there too. frown grin

Sunny here, have had no power today until about 20 minutes ago. Hot in the sweat box at work.

Just wanted to say, I was reading through old threads earlier and have noticed the amount of people who post here in the NSW/ACT forum has gone down, even just in the last year. We now don't have many different posters and if it wasn't for the small group that post, this forum would probably be extremely quiet. Might just be me.
But in saying that, I like how well everyone gets along (most of the time). smile

Sorry for getting a bit off topic...
It's a mostly sunny and nice afternoon here in the Gong and about 20C. Should be another coolish night.
Lol I'd probably be similar to you Dave if I'm honest!! smile

Thanks Homer and everyone, I wish it was my club, it's the 22nd hole at Royal Canberra.

Absolutely a stunning view from there.

Warmed up nicely in the end, looks like another fresh night coming up.

I may not post very often but I read with interest the many posts, besides just came back from a trip to WA to sort out matters following a family bereavement.
A fantastic storm whilst I was in Kalgoorlie, sadly no pics though and I hear this arvo Rockhampton in QLD had a bad storm with flooding of some businesses.

Regards Teddy

Yeah probably true Eddy. And no worries Teddy, doesn't matter that you don't post much, but good when you do post. smile I'm just making the point that it's slowly getting quieter on here which is a shame.

Well it was another cool one last night of about 11C, after a max of 22C yesterday. Even in the single digits for Camden Ap. Moss Vale up he mountain got down to 4C which is pretty cool for this time of year.

A bit chilly in Sydney this morning, but not unusual. At OH and Olympic Park, it was the colder than any December morning last year but it got colder in december 2011/12/13.

A beautiful day today. sunny with scattered cloud. The sea breeze should start up soon, keeping temps to 23-25 near the coast.

Nice cool morning here too, about 8 or 9.

Will warm quickly though on the way to about 27 or so today. The next week, the temps will be something like 29 to 32 each day.

Nights will be warmer though, might have an 8 or 9 tomorrow but going up to mid and high teens during the week. Warm for us.

WR - yes the regular posting group has diminished a bit but the weather has been boring for most as well. I keep posting innocuous stuff most days just to hopefully give someone a reason to respond. grin

A few stormy days or a proper cold change or a rain event brings people out more. We need more interesting weather.

EDDY also spot on, facebook, twitter etc have diluted the pool.

Some who've been around a while just get bored and wander off.

I agree about the boring weather Dave. When there's extreme heat, cold or rain it seems to bring members out of their shells.

Main observation/concern I have is the ongoing dry weather. Nearly 3 weeks has passed with barely a drop of rain, so conditions are deteriorating steadily. This 5 to 6 day warm spell won't help one bit.

Too dry out our way Rob for sure. Can't see any real relief in sight either unfortunately.

At least the hot days not quite so hot up your way. smile

Cheers WR. Seems to have dipped down to 23c today, hopefully it'll go up for when I get up there!

Thanks Eddy - I'm hoping there'll be storms as well! Doesn't look like anything flash this far out - although it does look warmish at least grin

Yes it was rather cold last night. I play tennis on some Thursday's too - and this time I was freezing to death. Weather can't make up its mind.

I had tennis last night too Ben, the breeze was fresh here as well. I actually played quite well last night. We were 5th ranked team (but close) and had to win well to get in the finals. We won 7 sets to 1 and ended up 3rd. In the finals!! smile

Well, when the weather is boring, we talk about other [censored].
So............great stuff Dave!!!!!!
Good luck in the semis!!!

Nice pleasant day today. Coolish temps and enough cloud built up during the morning after a clear start to keep the sting out of the sun.
Weatherwise, today was REALLY boring but it was very pleasant to work in, and it's another day down on my countdown to autumn that I don't have to sweat.

"Countdown to Autumn" lol you're as bad or worse than me!! Just yesterday I was already counting weeks till the end of Feb!!! grin Sad case here!!

Dec 27 days left, Jan 31 days Feb 28 = 86 days divided by 7 = just over 12 weeks!! grin

BUT as you might be aware, I also look at mid Feb as a slight turning point for nights, so only 10 weeks till then. grin

Pretty sad really, wishing my life away grin

Top here today at airport 27.4 so far.

Nice breeze when standing in shade but the sun very strong when out in it.

Should be about 7 or 8 tonight but then from tomorrow we have double digit minimums again for the forseeable future.

I look forward to tonight. smile

Basically we will be 30 or 31 every day till next Thursday now. Pretty consistent temps!

Getting close to beer o'clock now. grin
