Some cells with red cores out Cowra way. Quickly forming a storm train running NW to SE from SW of Forbes to Crookwell.

A cell getting going south of Blayney too. Nothing yet to my NW, that is the direction I usually look (as do many localities)

Yes DaveM, I can see that cell near Boorowa from here, looks rather impressive from here, at first thought I thought that cell was around Goulburn, just goes to show how big those cells are!!

Yes distance can be pretty hard to Gauge at times.

They seem to be heading in a generally easterly direction.

Maybe we'll get something in the Basin a little later.

I agree with WR about today's heat. The extra humidity made it feel much hotter and it was really uncomfortable in Merrylands today - and I was working under cover!!!!

Can even see that cell over Pings place from here, certainly doesn't look as impressive as those cells north of Crookwell.

Not much humidity up here Homer, about 29%, pleasantly warm though about 30c.

Currently 30.4 deg's here too Mr Ed.
I haven't been outside for the past hour since I got home, and don't plan on it anytime soon. The air-con is too nice!!!
Just looked out the window and there's a few nice towers about so I'm still hopeful for something a little later.

Hey Homer, AC sounds refreshing. I'm contemplating packing up and heading home tonight just to intercept a storm or two, but by the time I finish work and pack up it will be close to 8.30pm.

Arhhh whom am I kidding there are beers in the fridge!!!

Edit Reason: Beer

Enjoy them Eddy.
I've just cracked my first while I'm cooking dinner.
And, just as I say that, a sneaky little storm has popped up and it's now raining quite heavily. Won't last long but could be just an appetiser.

I've just been for a walk. It's full sunshine, about 29-30 degrees and quite humid with a NE'er blowing. There are interesting cloudscapes to the West and South, with a rumbling dark cloud to my North, the first thunder I've heard in nearly 4 weeks. That would be the Pymble cell.

Seems to be more development in train, hopefully an interesting evening.

Now it's absolutely bucketing down, but this will also be short lived. The sun is already appearing.
Haven't heard any rumbles yet.
Oops, just did then, after I typed that. The first.
Rain is easing now already.
One of those nice little short, sharp heavy showers.

A couple of rumbles from the westerly direction and some small but good looking cells that way as well. All I want is one of these guy's to develop over head and bomb like most of us on here.

I must say that the Bathurst webcam looks tasty.
All that stuff heading in from the south west looks promising for them and those east of that later.
That little storm we had here before has passed. There's stuff popping up everywhere and dying just as quickly. Quite an unpredictable evening.
Keep your chin up WR. You might just get a little surprise. Who knows?

Yeah maybe I'll get a surprise, but I'm certainly not counting on it here. It's rain that I want more- just a big heavy shower. The gardens and grass would not have liked temps that would've been about 36 or 37C today.

Just been watching this anvil to the west with a beer in hand which looks like it's decaying but then decides to fire off a CG. Hope it can keep up this form into the night. Also there is pretty much no seabrezze now.

Had a short, sharp shower here at Kingsgrove earlier, now there's some good flash and bang just to our West as I'm typing this smile

Still 26 deg's here, and still some spectacular cloud formations outside.
Little cells popping up all around the place, so anything could happen tonight.

I'll just keep watching.

Homer.
