Thankfully the dog woke me up, so I grabbed the camera gear and wondered outside, unfortunately in my half-sleep, most shots were out of focus :-(

Yeah thanks for sharing Kyle and also PeteM and his dog. I was out and about but just couldn't get a lightning shot so here are three cells that were still active come the dawn and a nice sunrise to start the day. A little late I know but our computer had a glitch preventing me from posting frown

and there goes our first 40C for the summer!!!

Also for those wondering, the Kyeema fire down south is still out of control... latest fire map here http://ow.ly/i/eycYq/original
and latest warning:
CFS advises that a bushfire at Yundi on the Fleurieu Peninsula near Burma Road, Enterprise Road may threaten your safety.
This Bushfire Watch and Act Message is in place for the following area(s) Yundi and Nangkita.
The KYEEMA fire is travelling in a Southerly direction towards Nangkita Road, Bahloo Glen Road and Enterprise Road.
The fire is not controlled and is burning in Scrub and conditions are continually changing. The CFS is attending to this fire.

Meanwhile we are at risk of dry lightning over the next 36 hours to further cause fire problems...
