If you can get over the burst of heat coming, there could very well be a bit of a tropical deluge leading up to Christmas......

With out looking at any models I am going go say Christmas will be between 27-32 based on the heat trend coming up (bound to be a cooler change within that period.

Contemplating whether the situation is beginning to get serious regarding water availability in the Central Adelaide Hills. Looking ahead hoping records do not break for the wrong reasons.

Rainfall systems either too meagre or too few and far between. Really need a deluge!

Could see some Ne moisture influence us from about the 2nd as well... Hopefully making it as far Sth as Adelaide hills by 3rd and 4th. Always hard to say if they could make it onto plains, depends on the steer.

Yep, I was there, along with hundreds of others. Was worth it though, pretty amazing stuff. The smell was strange but not too bad.

Yer probably deserves it's own thread, though the dates are very wishy washy at this stage. Comes back and forth twice it seems but has a series of complex small upper troughs waffling over into VIC from the southern Ocean to re-enforce it.

Shocking out there Pete. Also shocking here in Seaford Meadows with a grand total of 306.6mm. Should be closer to 600mm.
