Nth westerlies mate. Very much on the cards with a low sitting sth east of you. Depends on the low.

Actually, could be because it is more W-SW component forecast on meteye anyway. Haven't had a chance to look at anything else. Think (hope ) the 38c recorded last week will kill any "feels like" temp next week.
Maybe chance forbthe big 40 out your way @28

Anything westerly will do it at this time of year unless it's wrapped around a big juicy monsoonal low. It's only around 21 degs here at the moment. Perfect sleeping weather wink

The weather today was pretty close to spot on for me, around 21.5c to 34c but humidity did drop to around 35%.

Currently a very pleasant 25.9c and only 84%. Fans are one 1. smile

20C - perfect sleeping weather and no need for blankets.

Got so many chores done yesterday I crashed at 8pm and slept 8 hours straight.

Ridiculous for the middle of February. It actually warmed up slightly here after I posted and stayed above 22 degs for much of the night but felt colder.

All those parched tropical rainforests up there would be like a tinder box, one spark and up will it go.

Bloody hell HF. My Brother worked at Sunshine Village for a season and one time I chatted to him it was -40c there and where I lived in SA it was over 40c. 80c difference crazy

17.2c here this morning. Was snuggled up under the quilt. My Black Lab even snuck onto the bed.

Not quite that bad, there is some moisture in the forests but check again later...

Nice 20.6c here overnight. 27c, 77% now, taking a while to warm up.

Last years 800mm for Feb means we don't actually need any rainfall this Feb to make tong term average.

I think this last 8 months or so is a great example of how rainfall figures can be misleading in some respects. Our rainfall has certainly been on the low side for the most part but the cairns region has managed just enough at the right times to remain green. My lawn barely dried out this year.

Somehow back in Adelaide ... spent most of the night outdoors and was actually cold. Noticed it was quite cool yesterday morning in Cairns too.
