I see you're missing your friends up here, Cold Front.

5mm yesterday was a treat for the lawns, doubt any more but one never knows...

I think the coolest morning we've had in a few years was 9 degrees. That's cold enough thank you. grin

5.9 degs down here twice this winter. The coldest July minimum was 0.8 degs , eons ago. The days are amazing though after those colder nights.

It's had plenty of use mate smile

We have a pile of firewood and a nice brazier made out of a gas cyclinder also that's had plenty of use too.

Our fireplace has been used pretty much as a novelty this year, although it will get a workout this Sat night as one of my kids birthday and they are having a camp out.
Cool down the beach with this wind. Drive dwn was also horrendous with all the roadworks today as I left late

I have a cheap little fan heater I bought a couple years ago, sitting in the top of the wardrobe. Haven't needed to use it yet.

I remember it dropped to 8 here when we were living in a wall-less shed with the breeze flowing through - and no dog! (or three). I'd look up what year that was but it's too hard to pull out the figures.

Guess this isn't fishing weather...

My across the road neighbour lit theirs up a couple of weekends ago, balmy 23c morning it was. We nearly expired from the smoke, hoping that was enough to get rid of their novelty factor

They say the grass fed Mission beach beef is pretty good..maybe that's because the cows grow up with ocean views..lol..El Arish Butchery sells locally grown beef bred on their own farmland up on the tablelands and fattened along the Bingil bay backroad....

Ron,we saw a Minke out by Dunk on Saturday..I've only seen them out at the reef before so its nice to know they are cruising by inshore as well..

Nice pic RF. We saw some whales off the Gold Coast last weekend when we were down that way.

Yep. Far from paradise out there the last couple of days. At least for the tourists. The sailboarders were poving it. They were hitting 42.6kts
