I felt it here Scott, at first i thought it was my daughter playing with the old cabinet we have, as i could here the glass shaking, then i heard it again, and again and was just about to get up and check,it felt like someone was shaking my computer chair.

When i got there sh was nowhere near the cabinet and i then heard the glass rattle on two more occasions.

Felt not a thing either. That is it for me El Arish, I'm packing up my bat and ball and going home. This is ridiculous.

Ha! try living here! You get all the Cairns people saying, they wish it would rain! we wish it would stop half the time!

They should have invited you down earler in the week. It seems you have the ability to clear the rain 28 smile

10degs here this morning.

There was once a time when I brought the rain wherever I went. But about 5 years ago that changed to the opposite. Weird. :-/ I know which one I'd rather have, even if too much grey has me crawling up the walls.

Overcast, grey, & a cool 27C back home again.

What a beautiful day, 5mm in gauge but then turned out really sunny. Got a lot done, cleaning, plus got on the roof and cleaned the glass on the solar water heater, yikes how grungy that was.

The odd Salty just a few km's downstream from there as well...there once was a croc farm halfway to the beach which became flooded about 20 years or so back and of course all the crocs escaped...we are on the next smaller creek to the south and there are JP's all the way up into the mountains...If you drive just a km or so south from the Maria you will see a newly erected Croc warning sign on a swimming hole we have swum in for 20 years..

Pretty unlikely Ron..under new ownership so most likely an attempt to stop it being a community swimming hole any longer..

Yep.. pesky is putting it lightly where bullrouts are concerned hickory...insanely painful little fockers is better.
