Bit of a bugger it was my day off that day. I haven't seen him for about 15years now. Oh well. Can't always be lucky. Glad those who did see him got the chance.

Was that footage from the boat you travel out there on Brett...?..well it sounds like at least you have seen him before..you lucky bugga..was that off Cairns..?...I never have seen him..yeah it sure would have been an exciting boat ride for both the passengers and the crew ,no doubt..!..he seemed to dive right under the boat..you can really see just how big he is with such a contrasting colour...the normal black ones seem to blend in more with the water and don't appear so big..

I think the footage was off big cat. Not the boat i go out on. I first saw him on the NSW south coast. Back before i knoew he existed. Was a bit of a shock i can tell you. Never spotted him since but have manage to miss him by a day or two several times .
Cool pic desieboy. They seem to almost be common (ish) nowadays

Whale washed ashore in Albany

I know they have tried blowing them up before but it makes you wonder what would have happened many years ago in the same situation with a huge whale being washed ashore.

When I was a kid I saw a Blue Whale that got washed ashore while bloated luckily in a very isolated area of the south coast pretty sure it was just left there.
