GFS looking at 75-100mm here over the next 8 days. The trend has been to upgrade rain totals here over the past few days.
No measurable rain here as of yet.
Nice to hear the bladder cicadas out again. Spring is truly here!

One thing I have noted over the last couple of weeks is that the UV Index is making a turn towards summer readings. After hovering around 4 to 5 during winter, I am now starting to record 6s & 7s and today I recorded 8.4. Big change within two weeks.

Good old fashioned fly swat is the go to weapon. fast , hard , very early miss. they never know what hit them.

Had a lovely mid morning shower in Bundy. Hopefully the start of many more in the next 48hrs. Damn Gekos are everywhere here not to mention the odd huntsman coming into the house lately. The huntsman would be safer if they stayed OUTSIDE.

That's good news ME, this kind of weather is a great appetizer for the inevitable storm season ahead.

Not much here rain in the borderlands. Just a few light showers.
I've been learning about different cloud formations and levels.
Very interesting! Weather is so fascinating and never stays the same for long.
So I am always hopeful that some good action is just around the bend.
Mamma says....Bring on the storm season! smile

For me that's what makes it so special Mamma. It always keeps you guessing

If anyone's in the CBD at lunchtime on Friday, the weather looks ideal (mostly clear and dry) for the high speed low level practice runs (SE to NW along the River around 12:30pm) by a couple of F/A-18F superhornets in the leadup to the main Riverfire display tomorrow evening.

Just checked out GFS & AccessG in particular. Thursday next week will be umbrella time from another upper & surface trough.
Lovely green pastures Lani (great pics in the last event thread). The place here is slowly getting back to green glory.

Great weather for solar users. I'm generating 30kw a day and only use about 7kw ..... 23kw exported back into the grid with 50c pew KW credit - so making $13 a day from origin.

Ka-ching!

Looks like a blustery cool day here for the end of next week after the passage of the next front. Back to August like conditions. Might as well enjoy it, because the heat is right around the corner I am sure.

Amazing in the NSW /ACT chat there is a major flood going on not a word.
If it was here it would be full on normally.
