Sounds like you've been enjoying the "glorious" SW Victorian weather too WG. We left Port Fairy on the 4th Oct and have been in Apollo Bay since. Winds here yesterday were horrendous and we commented that driving a caravan would not have been fun - your comments confirmed. Our caravan park is high on the hill just east of AB and we've watched wave after wave of rain squalls cross in front of us. The cabin was rocking around too. Still happening at the moment. At least the Great Ocean Road is now open for our journey onward tomorrow. Cheers Barb cool

Not a bad system coming through Sunday-Monday with a secondary front on Tuesday.
Looks like anything between about 20-40mm in total (for the city) depending on which model you favour.
Another decent system developing for the following weekend with substantial rainfall.

Lofty getting trained quite nicely, wonder if we will see some local flash flooding, still plenty of convective showers inbound.

Approaching 1100 mm for the year shocked crazy -- about 27% more rain than average now.

In that case, maybe we could discuss the rainfall record-breaking situation we're in, and the awe of it all?

/sarcasm off.

29.3 mm to 9.35 pm.

6.3 mm from todays mixed bag.
The rain-band moved in throughout the morning with 3.8 mm from that...
a break in the rain....
Then showers moved on in, this arvo filling in the rest... with a few low key rumbles north of hear around 7 pm. (didn't see the flashes).

Nothing overly heavy just plain old showers, some heavier than others.
