It seems like Hillary is the favourite to win the presidency- she has a lot of support and the media seems to hate Trump.

I reckon Trump will win. I just think people are too embarrassed to say that they like him, but in the election it's anonymous..

Trump is Hillarys greatest asset, almost guarantees her win if he is the only other contender.

I reckon she'll set hubby up with a biter if she's no 1 in US.....

Samboz- But on the same token, Hillary is not much competition for Trump either. Neither of them would be good for America's future. Clinton would continue doing nothing about the problem of terrorism and Trump would change America (and the world) for the worse.. Bernie Sanders for president!!! If only..

If they were the best candidates AUS could front up then it would be a disaster !

If comparisons were made TURNBULL/SHORTEN v CLINTON/TRUMP..........

Who would rather T/S or C/T in Aus ?

Abbott telling lies? Nothing knew here. Watching Abbott and Turnbull go to blows yesterday was fun though.

This election has seen the US take one step closer to tyranny.

Hilary Clinton would have been unelectable if she was running against anyone other than Trump. The election now effectively has only one candidate and therefore barely qualifies as an election anymore.

If democracy isn't dead in the US it is certainly terminally ill.

I think the States are damned which ever way they go.

On one hand they have a bloke with absolutely no tact, but he does spruik freedom of liberties, even though he himself seldom practices the theory.

Then on the other hand we have a lifetime politician who has never really known a moment of absolute truth in her entire life. She has a very dark cloud hanging over her, and the old saying, where there is smoke there is fire, certainly sits comfortably within the house of Clinton.

One thing for sure is that Trump is not hiding anything from anyone. The fool you see is the fool you will get. Clinton on the other hand, would be kissing you on the cheek and sliding a blade into your back, all with that wonderful dubious smile she flashes continuously.

Poor ol' U S of A.

Think you will find the congressional elections will mean more / have more impact than the Presidential elections for the average US citizen. Republicans would be filthy that Rubio didnt get up in the primaries or even the bloke from Ohio as they may well have won at a general election against Clinton Inc.

Dunno Ron, infatuation is a positive admiration of someone/thing, none of the posts so far would lean that way, probably the opposite such as disenchanted/disinterested.

We'd be naive though if we didn't recognise the US's position as an ally wasn't a prime factor for our national security.

With TRUMP as POTUS who'd know where that alliance could take us!

edit---heard a female commentator in the US this morning, she thought TRUMP couldn't have done more if he tried, to get Hillary into power, also my thoughts as per prev. post.
