Looking real interesting, everything is moving more Ntherly rather than East'ish which is where the upper currents are going ? The current cells are sitting in some good sheer in the low levels, steer winds in the mid levels should keep them priming as they load up from the building moisture entering from the coast as the arvo progresses, instability very much on the increase as time ticks over into the evening as well !

Reckon there will be some good persisting solid cells and hopefully some new ones forming closer to the coastal border areas for a noice light show around dusk on the goldy !
Not ruling anything out - touch-wood blush
Just my Bob's worth grin

I'm chilling out on North Burleigh headland killing time. Really breezy, looking like storms are firing, failing and firing again to land around surfers?!

They're dying. I say it's done.
(Please look back to 2014 for the last time I made such a statement...)

If it holds, lookout greater Brisbane area around 5.
I think it will. Some nasty storms usually come from there.

I think the sea breeze will inhibit the coastal chances. Might be wrong, just my thoughts

I think what a lot of people forget, this forum is NE NSW and QLD. Because it may not hit exactly were you live it is not a fizzer. If you were to look at the WZ Storm tracker or 256K Stappy radar you would see some decent storms. As I said earlier I believe Northern NSW will have it better than we do. The Gold Coast looks to be in the firing line this evening.

Some good storms out there.

Has anyone else noticed GFS has done a complete 180 and changed the steering direction for storms tomorrow!?
It is now suggesting they will be moving towards the coast but the winds are still weak.

That little call between here and Killarney has been putting out a few good rumbles. Nice to hear the sound of thunder again!

No storms today or tomorrow for Brisbane. We won't see anything from this storm outbreak except for maybe a shower from a dying storm. Gotta wait a bit longer all.

Can see an overshooting top from that nice cell north of Maryvale, near Goombura. Our chances here for today are about finished.

Cells popping up like zits. Not over yet me thinks.
Big black cloud just to our west, waving a big stick at it.
