Re: my edited post, Why don't the admin clarify what is permissible next time then, and make it universal?

Maybe (added expletives here)...is that permissible? Why do you think I put '' instead?

We all seek boundaries C/naz, this is a gentlemanly/ladylike forum and occasionally I have to rein in the odd vernacular.....

Such as after my inept guessing of model interpretation goes a/up etc etc grin

Don't sweat it, roll onward and upward cool

Interesting ...perhaps.

"Queensland attorney general refers Rod Culleton letter to police commissioner

This is a statement from the attorney general and justice minister, Yvette DAth.

I have referred a matter to the Queensland Police Commissioner for his consideration.

The Chief Magistrate of Queensland informed me that Senator Rodney Culleton, One Nation Senator for Western Australia, had written a letter to the Magistrate at Cairns Magistrates Court.
The Chief Magistrate expressed concern that the contents of the correspondence from Senator Culleton could amount to an attempt to pervert the course of justice, and threatening a judicial officer."

I see in the paper today (The Australian) there are pages about the "Trump Effect" here, in Australia. After reading parts of the articles...I have empathy for the demographic concerned.

Congratulations to the Turnbull government.

It has taken a while, but you have finally done it, you have turned around the economy. Well done ! Your policies are working well.

Actually Oz. I doubt this one has much to do with the current gov't. My guess it is more related to world events. Brexit, Trump, the soon to be European upheaval and the fact that politics is so polarized atm. The damaging fear mongering over political events is doing a lot of damage in the minds of the regular citizen and their spending capacity. People are simply holding on to their cash until things settle down a bit. They are paying down debt instead of spending on superflous items. I am sure that with large infrastructure spending by the gov't this downtick could have been avoided but that would come at a long term cost. Best to wait and see how things pan out than spend too big right now.

Yes of course, it's everybody else's fault but the government's. That's always the way it goes.

Not always. But many economists are pointing to the world situation and even Bom is pointing to the weather halting a lot of big ticket projects. By all means though. If you want to close your eyes and just blame the govt go hard. That is one of the reasons politics is so broken in this country.

Indeed, but the closet Liberals are still in that endless state of denial.

Yep. He is useless. Completely hamstrung by the far right of his party. But it isn't the right leaners that have anything to worry about because of this. If you the left don't like how things are now wait untill the next election and we really go right. It's gonna be ugly
