Mixed bag of happenings here. Thunder on occasions. Spits and spots nearly the size of a 50c piece in short bursts ( rather strange..)

Lots of sparks and booming out there now, most will at least get a flash and bang over the next hour. If yer lucky like teck, you'll get a drink. smile

Plenty of sparks out there to be seen - hope the camera catches a few - just starting to rain here now.

Nice blob of red by the airport:

Just been core punched with heavy rain with large drops, gutters overflowing and a quickfire 2 mm in the gauge, better than a kick in the bum smile
No loud thunder , but plenty of distant rumbles and bangs.
game over for now.

Got one snap:

One other very close strike (approx 0.6 sec flash to bang), probably in the Magill Estate Vineyard - very loud here! My window doesn't view that way but it sure lit up that frame!

I was chasing the cell that hit west lakes it was pretty slow approaching the coast then once it hit land it just zoomed off. It lasted all of 2 minutes really.

I'm still trying to work out this Adelaide radar smirk

I'll get my good pictures in the morning
Core over the top delivered 1.8mm, pro2 didn't tip due to a spider making a web stopping the tipping but the good ol Nylex came to the rescue

Wasn't expecting this much action tbh, but glad I'm wrong when I thought we'd get very little but get a good amount.

A good ol' fashioned 70's thunderstorm with some rain & rolling booms.

Mainly CC's although did see 1 ripper CG to our east once the storm had passed over us.

Recorded 2.5mm, so happy with that.

When I had arrived home earlier from work, there was a bit of a storm over the top, muttering away quietly.

Saw some flashes to the south last night around 2am or so. All missed us once again. This month of wall-to-wall disappointment continues, from the crappy Melbourne temps to the absence of storms.

This upcoming heatwave is the saving grace. Looking awesome on the models. I'm thinking the overnight temps will be interesting on Tuesday night into Wednesday with a strong northerly gradient. OCF has our min at 28C for MONDAY night into Tuesday and that is with lighter winds than are progged for Tuesday night.

Be patient young padawan wink the summer is only starting to ramp up now pretty soon we won't have to worry about the dismal Melbourne conditions putting a damper on and killing our decent storm chances here in SA as everyone will get their chance

A couple from me from yesterday, I wasn't expecting any storms so a nice treat, has been a generous year for storms smile

These are both single discharges, only saw a flash.
