Have not been game to fiddle with them, they belonged to my Dad. Would have to go find some 120 film to put in the BB I reckon, pretty sure they use the old 120 film.

The other cameras definitely work. All 35mm although one is able to use either 35mm or 120 film, a lovely European camera from about the 1940's or so. Beautiful thing to hold and fiddle with.

Let those pictures flow in Dave-O!! No more excuses my man.

Hi Eddy, along with the low ISO and the JPEG only compression my camera offers I guess theres not that much noise, that photo has no editing just a 1024xcrop and a white balance I forgot to take off poke. my ISO can go as low as 40.

Latest BOM forecast is out. Looks like a really hot week coming up.
This is the heat lovers dream, that you have all been waiting for.
Enjoy it everyone. I'll be watching cricket and A-League in the air-conditioned comforts of my home.
I'll be watering the garden and vegie patch daily, and taking rubbish out to the bin and collecting mail. That will be the extent of my outdoor activities. Lol.

Yes I was just looking at that Homer. Looks like the heat will continue until a SE wind change next Friday the 30th. Should please LongRoadHome - though he/she may be disappointed that the coastal fringe will be tempered by sea breezes.

There'll be a lot of people disappointed if the NE'er kills the heat.
In saying that, this is their time to enjoy the summer.
Plenty of hot temps forecast. It's my time to deal with it and not complain, which I won't. Maybe. smile

I'm with DaveM. Solstice has passed. Its always been my lead in to winter as well, even though hotter temps occur afterwards.
I know winter is on the way after the Solstice.
The next thing I look forward to is late February. After that, there is a cool down.

One factor is warm sea surface temperatures (caused partly by El Nino) SST have been running above normal since January 2014 ( graph ).

Glorious day, 20-25C, take any mild day you can get during summer here, ie when you don't need the aircon on.
Got quite a bit of outside work done, have to be opportunistic as normally cooler days mean rain. (none today, just cloudy).

Of that we cannot speak.

* * * * *

It looked like it was going to clear around lunch time but the cloud has stuck around like a pall. The cloud layer has been thin and it was often fairly bright. Overall, mild and cloudy with a few sunny breaks. Ooks like the BOM is expecting a repeat tomorrow.

The pattern on the coast over the Christmas period will be Northerly, so most of the heat will be kept at bay on the coast. Even so, continuing above average, and it will be hot inland. It looks set to switch to a more Easterly pattern come New Year.

Didn't know you were a Scouse fan Eddy.
I've got no problem with that though. I'm a Geordie fan.

Yep all my life I've been following Liverpool. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to work it out!!

So you are a Geordie fan = Newcastle United?

Yes.
A Geordie till I die.
Long story too.
Remember Match of the Day with Brian Moore? That's when I fell in love with them.
It was in the 70's.

Vaguely remember, I can only go back as far as the very late 70s.
Used to love watching King Kenny, Rush, Grobbelaar and of course Johnstone!!
Your team looking good to get back up to the top league.

Deceptively warm considering the cloud cover, easterly breeze has been going strong all morning, hopefully we will get to see some sun later on today.

It was sunny here early, but the cloud closed in around 9:30 and looks set to stick around for the time being. There's a barrelling E-NE'er. Can't imagine what's driving it, there's been minimal heating. 23 degrees, feels like 20, cool, windy and grey.

The satellite shows an 'Adamms Family'cloud over the central part of the coast, backbuilding over the Hunter and drifting South. It does look to be shrinking, so maybe there'll be a bit of sun later.
