Believe it or not I can actually see the lightning flashes from the storm to the SW of the Towers, and I'm up at Bilyana.

i went out to reid river to get a few shots RD, pretty specky storm. when i got back to the ville i could also see lightning from the towers cell further west

Not that hard to believe. I was watching flashes from a cell 250 k's away a couple of weeks back.

hope you lot get a bit.

SE is not generally a great pattern for us out here, very hit and miss, unless it builds to something larger than what we are seeing on the radar currently.

The storm the other night was great to watch but was a relatively dry cell. Lot of breeze, and flashing, not a great deal of anything else.

sucks that big storm missed the main tsv area, got the dam though, i guess thats good. flow has tried up but models showing the best day for us is tomorrow.

It's been bucketing down here for the last few hours , it's the night of my dreams and I can't enjoy it because I have to be up by 4:30 and on my way to the airport .. next there will be a flood every time I go away this happens either a cyclone a flood or a bloody airline strike
