BoM can't make an accurate prediction for 24 hours so I can't see the models being any better but then I am an absolute cynic when it comes to models. Mind you I am always happy to be proven wrong and I sure as hell want that GoC thingo to head down the middle of Qld and break the drought.
No rainfall recorded since last post.

Yea I think the higher rainfall was on the assumption of the low crossing the cape.

Min was 30.1C got up feeling like absolute crap despite having bedroom aircon on all night.
Checked temp at 8.00am it was 36.5C
9.00 it was 37.8C
10.00 it was 39.2C

So 40C+ is not only possible but will happen at my place before 12.00. As I have said multiple times the airport temperatures only reflect what the airport is recording not what the rest of us are experiencing. At Rasmussen I am always 4 to 6C higher than the airport during summer and at least 2C colder than the airport in winter.

Reached 40 yesterday. Exceeded that today. Just hope the storms fire up. Nothing exciting on the radar yet.
