Don't worry the stadium will solve all of Townsville's problems.

Us down here are getting an expanded prison and no new dam either.

No rainfall recorded since last posting. But then even if anything significant had fallen I couldn't post it due to us upgrading to NBN and the utter rubbish service we are getting. 5 days offline wasn't fun but we had to wait for NBN Co to send out a tech to see what the problem was. To see what happened I have started a new topic in the Lounge and you can read about it there.

Rain gauge was on the ground this morning. Some woman who was visiting next door and reverses via the Braille method backed into the fence post for the second time in 3 weeks and it fell off its mounting so now I have to get my crowbar out to straighten up the bent galv fence post. You just can't win some days.

Are we going to have a dry season competition? We could have questions like, first day to reach single digits, lowest maximum temperature, lowest humidity, first sighting of ugh boots with shorts and a hoody, (Should I start a People Of Willows Shopping Centre photo blog?) fog on Ross River, a greater than 10mm rain event etc??
