Definitely agree there. Could be a lot worse for us and is a lot worse for many other places.

Last few hours of Feb and what a shocker for us in the Whitsundays for rainfall! It's my second worst February on record at Mt Julian for over 21 years, recording only 91mm. Average is 433mm and worst on record was 70mm in 2006.

YTD rainfall of 1075mm is ok because January was the 2nd best on record here of 700mm, average is 343mm, worst was 83mm in 2003, best was 880mm in 2008.

Mackay has done very well with those storms on Valentines day and the next. I was in Mackay for the storm on the 14th and it was fantastic!
