between murray bridge and callington and just south of the
freeway.

Not sure what site you are using TH, but Geoscience and other earthquake apps all had it on there from about half hour after the quake.

didn't anyone read my second post? (where's that rolleyes emoticon)
Tek i originally used USGS website and it still wasn't there
after 5am.
when i heard the news report i went to the aus. geo. site
and it was there, also on the usgs site now.
so no, not 'all' other apps had it 1/2 hr after the
occurrance. poke

yer so thats right.... the site you were using - USGS, didnt have it.... whats your point?
Your first post asked the question.... I answered it. The site you were using for some reason didnt show it like the others did.

my point is.......
a) my last post indicated you didn't......
B)read my second post which negated my first post,
instead you chose to get anal about my first post as
if my second post didnt exist.
c)you made the blanket statement........
......"but Geoscience and other earthquake apps all had it
on there from about half hour after the quake".
i emphasise "all"
that statement is incorrect as i indicated in my third post.
that's my point.......
i know i'm being anal and pedantic but that's what i
do best and anyway you started it. poke

I'd Contact Channel 7 regarding that you have had your image stolen and send them the information of your camera from ISO to F stop and all of that and send them your original file as well I'd say. But that is very low of some idiot to do that.

yer Tek, it was just before 7pm when i saw it but didn't
take a lot of notice of it until Je mentioned it.
just thought ok musta bin special if it's on the news,
assumed every man and his dog took pics and sent them in.
unfortunately didn't scrutinize it or any associated name.

not tying to be funny or smart here Je but is it possible
someone near you may have taken a similar pic and you've
mistaken it as yours.

Tek and Je, just had a look at that weather footage and it's
the second one that comes closest and looking closely at it
it was taken north of Je's pic and by not a lot.
i used the holes in the cloud and the brightest area of
light as references.
different foreground too of course'.
never mind Je, it's an honest mistake where you only got a
quick glimpse, understandable under the circumstances.
well just have to save our ball tearing retribution for
some other deserving soul. wink

For those of you who have been pining for a real summer perhaps a quick trip to Birdsville would suffice:
Last four days = 44, 44, 43.8, and 45.1 and what about the next 7 especially the minima.

BIRDSVILLE 7-DAY WEATHER FORECAST

Maximum 46C 45C 46C 46C 47C 48C 46C
Minimum 32C 31C 33C 33C 33C 32C 34C
Chance of Rain 5% 5% 5% 40% 5% 20% 5%
Rain Amount < 1mm < 1mm < 1mm < 1mm < 1mm < 1mm < 1
