What an amazing set of numbers mate. Got a big surprise when I read your message this morning smile

Up here it feels like those sort of temps will never ever happen again!!! They will of course but in a couple of months.

You must have had some very fresh air pass over the joint!! smile

Yeah, thought I'd rub it in a little. Actually a bit too nippy for this time of year, but near by Cressy has been below 0 in every month except Jan where the record is 0.3 - so sub 5 degree nights aren't that unusual. The decile 1 min temp for Feb is 4.6, so Cressy averages about 3 mornings every Feb under 4.6.

Liawenee was -0.5 last night.

You might have to wait until mid March for some solid relief and cooler nights - especially if this -ngve SAM/AAO hangs around. Pushes the cooler westerlies over Tassie, but pushes the heat into NSW/QLD.

Yes - not expecting Feb to be a whole lot different to January at this stage.

Next major point for me will be the equinox, then the nights start to overpower day temps around here.

Maybe a slight chance of dipping below 10degrees in Hobart Monday Morning.

Looking ahead Sunday looks like a cool day with a top of 17.

Into the 7's again this morning. Struggling to break 23 at the moment. Consistently 11-22 type temps.

Wondering whether we'll see some light snow on the weekend and outside chance of a frost Sunday or Monday morning.

Haven't had Summer here yet!

Yes I know we can get the white stuff any time of year poke

It can hold off for a bit longer!

I'd just like it to dry out a bit Dave. The precipitation has been like the misty drizzle we expect to set in come Autumn. crazy

The vegie garden however is loving it!

I sympathise indeed, weather extremes of any sort get tougher as they go for longer and longer periods. Be it cold, heat, wet or dry smile
