Overnight low of 15.8C, dawned coolish and mostly cloudy, with light showers and drizzle early this morning.

A nice hot, mostly sunny day with a cool breeze. Reached a top of 30C exactly! smile

The wind got a bit too cold for my liking around dinnertime. Currently around 15C.

Max. here round 23C, suspect hot air from S.A. kept yr min. fairly high last night W_V.

0.3mm to 0900hrs this morning, very little wind and cloudy cover getting heavier at the mo'.

That 17mm was a god send the other week, very handy!

A little more over the next 3 days would quite excellent re grass fire danger at home.

Doesn't feel hot / muggy at all, be surprised if any snap/crackle/pop tonight.

Heap of same in NSW running NNW into QLD.

Other than a warm Wednesday next week, seems the outlook is cool? Great for the fire season.

Semi overcast here today, a good day, little wind and 27C.

Here hoping some of us Vic's can pick up 2-4mm before Wednesday! smile

Interesting indeed! poke

Reached a warm, mostly sunny high of 27.9C here in Belgrave today. The weather was kinda indecisive, with mostly cloudy conditions - and cooling temperatures (it began falling from around 22-23C to 20-21C at lunchtime) - until the Sun burst through just as I was leaving for Boronia at 1:30pm! crazy

The Sun sure felt kinda hot. However the breeze was very pleasant, until late in the day when it started feeling cold.

However, the wind dropped a fair bit while my family and I were down at Warntirna South for the evening. smile

At the last check it was around 16C.

A cool (but feeling cold) day. Full cloud. Several attempts at rain but only achieved some brief unrecordable thin drizzle. Chances of actual rain with tomorrow's SWly change?

Cool/cold feeling cold day here too!

Breeze swung all around the southerly sector today, somehow recorded a 24C max despite no sunshine. Also had "wanabee drizzle".

Feels more like late April than February here today!

Hoping to accumulate 2mm from tonights change and anything on offer through to Monday.

The chances of us experiencing a day "into the 40's" for this summer seem low to this tiro....

17.5c for a high today, quite a lot of sun and very little wind. Two attempts at rain around the middle of the day, one lot of 5 drops and another 3 second shower that dodged the gauge. Most interesting feature of the day was the dryness, my DP hit 0.4c at 325pm.

Overnight low of 12.4C, reached a top of only 22.4C here in Belgrave today. Virtually no rain here sadly. frown

Thankfully, plenty of weather action awaited me further south! I was out with my family on a day trip to Gippsland's Bass Coast southeast of Melbourne, leaving home at around 11am and returning by about 7pm. smile

Apart from a brief light shower as we drove through Harkaway to Berwick, it stayed mostly dry until we headed southeast on the South Gippsland Highway beyond Tooradin and Koo Wee Rup around midday.

Up until about 3pm (while visiting Wonthaggi, Inverloch, Cape Paterson, and Kilcunda), we had a mix of sun and rain. A number of showers swept in from the west, with the last shower we encountered (while at Cape Paterson at 3pm) being quite heavy; no thunderstorms sadly! Fortunately the showers were brief, lasting only 5-10 minutes max. smile

Temperatures were generally only around 15-16C (full stats from the BOM to come tomorrow hopefully), but winds were generally very light, except in exposed coastal spots around Cape Paterson and Kilcunda; whenever it did blow strong and gusty it felt quite raw and cold! Conversely, at other times when the sun was out (especially just after a shower had gone through), it felt quite kinda intense, so I'd have to remove my windcheater! eek

The weather finally improved after 3pm as we made our way home, with plenty of sunshine and generally light winds (particularly at Grantville and Jam Jerrup, on the eastern shore of Western Port). It got a little cloudy once again in Tooradin after 5pm, but the sun came back out soon afterwards. smile

Currently around 13C.

Got down to 1.8c at 4am, then looks like mist and low cloud rolled in and warmed things up. Currently 6.4 degrees and a very light breeze

Overnight low of 8.7C, currently around 12C. Cloudy, wet, windy... and cold! eek

Collected 2.2mm of rain in the 24 hours to 9am, most of it from a surprise thunderstorm that developed around 11:30pm right over my corner of Melbourne! Only one flash of lightning and rumble of thunder, but also about 20 minutes worth of heavy rainfall! Nice. smile

Going for a top of only 17C for the City today. Intense small cold pool over Tassie and Bass Strait heading north into Southern Victoria on the satellite. Lots of showers and thunderstorms approaching Melbourne on radar! Hoping for some good thundery downpours with hail in the mix. smile
