26c here today.....During the last couple of summers periods with temps over 35 were common..this summer, high temps have been few and far between..certainly been more comfortable doing paddock work this year that's for sure...

49.5mm in the last 24..with some heavy rain at present and a good sized blob hanging just offshore..

Some nice calm fishing weather over the next week James..I might try for sunday..what depth did you find your nannies in..?

6mm probably sometime yesterday or last nite.

Coming home the last 5km gravel was a very strange mix of dust & mud & deep water filled potholes.

Currently Chillagoe has its force field up. Back and ominous all around us, feel like a storm coming, vaguely. Nothing happening - except on the radar.

Oops, double post.
Blame it on Telstra 3G timing out.

Was driving down through Dubbo this afternoon. It was amazing. It's so flat you can see for ever and there were cells all over the place and CGs going everywhere. Just driving down the road and suddenly I was on the wrong side of the road due to a gust

One news report said he was spear fishing off Eva Point. It's a long way from there back to Port Hinchinbrook to get assistance.

yeah GnL, Eva island is about 45 minutes in my tub on a calm-ish day ..hopefully they had something faster...and very fortunate that the ocean was virtually dead flat today..hope he pulls through..

Might get a bit wet tonight if it doesn't fall apart as it comes over the range. Heading back out to the reef tomorrow should be an awesome day for it

A 10 minute storm at 5.15pm ish gave us 6mm very quickly.
Another 10 minute storm at 6pm gave us another 20mm.

Then Moses got into the act once again. Just keeps splitting around us.

Looks like we're being dumped on as I write, but nothing is happening frown frown

This lot seems to be heading to the SE.
I don't think we're a chance with this lot. Babinda,- Innisfail area looks more likely.
