The radar seems to be really filling in.
A lot of rain pushing in from the south.
I hope the whole Metro gets a good dump, and then hopefully, it can spill out onto the Tablelands to give Greg and Dave a hosing.

Wow I have never seen so many posts at this time of the morning. I was shocked when I refreshed the page that I last posted on and there were two pages following it. Didn't realise there were so many night owls here.

Lovin the banter Homer and Max. I'm actually not much of a pisshead in town. Drinks are too expensive and lines are too long to get too knackered. poke At house parties.... different story!!

Wowzers 60mm at Albion Park. That was definitely unexpected since there wasn't too much rain at Wollongong. For a while it was not raining outside after midnight.

Some nice rain this morning, although the airport has only recorded 1.2mm in the last hour, definitely seems more here.
Hopefully this sets in for the day.
Most of my garden is native and copes well with hot and dry periods, but a good drop of rain is needed now.
Yeah Wave, noticed the night owls around, but with an early morning job, going to bed at Nursing Home hours becomes more of the norm here.

yes stormy, we live in a crap area for rain really. Its just a no mans land when it comes to weather. Too far east for storms, too far west for decent onshore weather.

Theres rain falling at all points of the compass but not here. Illawarra constantly picks up anything on offer. Now northern coast is getting it, even Newcastle got heavy down pours overnight the inlaws report. Zero here. Like zero, I mean I have seen heavier dews.

Time to move to daintree I recon because I will be out of water soon.
For all thats on offer this week down the coast I wouldnt be suprised if we saw less then 10mm. GFS has basically had a green hole over us for nearly all its runs.

Don't think I've ever seen Sydney's forecast display "chance of a thunderstorm" for the entire week! Looks more like Darwin's forecast cept for those temperatures.

It's the same here actually and on the GFS charts there's marginal instability every day as far as the eye can see. Very odd, usually this kind of weather would shut down storm activity for the week. I think our chances are better around mid-week onwards where it warms up a bit.

Yeah that chance of a thunderstorm every day for a week sounds like a 1980's Sydney forecast.

It does.
