Plots of climate anomaly trends show a six-month slide from cool-wet to hot-dry.
This was the hottest February by far in the new century for mean daily maximum (36.8), mean average (28.4) and mean daily minimum (20.0).
The 11th reached 44.9, the maximum in this record beginning March 1999.
Rainfall, estimated at 4.1 mm, was one of the five lowest in the 133-year record.
Details in my blog.
