That storm just broke up near us yesterday, just disappeared...

About as humid as Darwin here today.

Lots of pretty colours on the screen.

Son rang me from where he was working not far from home. "Is it raining at home" "no, why" "It is here. Can you bring my washing in please".

It is so humid outside that I am sweating like a little piggy out there just hanging the washing.

Yeah I'm a guy and I do the washing at home sometimes and yeah our line is in a great place to get washing dry but damn it's hot there. Probably not helped by having small pebbles on that side of the house and no vegetation in that spot.

Temps at night and day are fractionally cooler than earlier this month here but humidity is still high.

Finally not seeing 26 deg every night and a few days below 30 but doesn't feel much cooler.

Supposed to be breezy living near the sea, almost none at all up until 2pm .

All models seem to be predicting some sort of rain next week.

Lawn is lush and green looks like it was fertilised. I stopped fertlising it a few years ago and just mulch mow.

I can not believe we did not get wet. Looking at the radar we should have got a drenching.

Daughter was chatting with a friend who was maybe 5 k east of us and it was absolutely bucketing down there.

Just had a shower start here, relatively large drops coming down smile really not used to this stormy/rainy weather actually hitting us so it was a nice surprise!

Thunder and clear CG lightning in the storm moving in from the south. Should hit us nearly dead on.

Coolest thing I've seen! Looked out over my verandah to the south as the winds start to pick up and all I can see is a wall of white headed toward me, next second it's hammering down. Absolutely love it.

20 percent chance of a storm? Sky is getting greyer and radar looks like something coming our way?

Rocky it says is only 30 percent of a chance.

Why is it so hard to get the forecast close to correct !

Having said that , it looks like it could still break up here. Nothing falling from the sky. Just overcast.

All those pretty colours again. Looks like we wont' get it here, that little gap in the line will pass over us, if things stick to the usual routine.

We do get the pleasure of the power outages though. Went off and back on within 5 minutes. Won't be suprised if I am in the dark tonight.

Don't think so. I think we would be lucky to get a shower. Around us will get a drink.

Even now that tail that 'should' get us is fading into white and dying away.

Should we take bets? grin
