Hot in the tropics alright!! Maxed out at 35.9C today around lunchtime.

Looks like we "might" get some rain next week. Fingers crossed!

It seems 27.8 on the 5th March 1956 was the warmest march night, so 27.5 was pretty close.

Something is wrong... So many homes with solar panels and yet so many homes with no power (and they receive a credit for export power) .....

This will change in the coming years MW as the cost of onsite battery storage comes down...still probably 3 years away from this being more mainstream but it is coming.

Aww,Weary, we left there couple hours ago, and have been chasing the northern thunderstorn but it's travelled faster than my old jalopy and moved beyond Cape Trib.

The last 15 minutes have been torrential rain here at holloways.
Must have dropped the temp by 2 or 3 too.

Really weird out here. Complete cloud cover the last two days, and cloudy the days before.
It's only 55% humidity, but feels more humid than it does when it's up in the 60s.
Looking across the vacant yard next door, it's kind of like looking thru faint moisture. As though we're in very thin cloud.

Oh no, just caught up with the news. Looks like th SE has just had a 1 in 100 year weather event. Must be Kaos down there for a day or so..... By the way we have had only three hundred mm this Month and the causeway is still over, actually it has been over for Months now. that is ok as we are a resilient mob.

Well that's it for the cyclone affected communities of central QLD. Brisbane times have published a video of a pot plant blown over in th SE. All relief efforts will now be within a 100 km radius of brisbane

Check the Brisbane radar. The eye of Debbies leftovers is right over Brisbane. Still pretty damn good structure considering what she has been through. Can't wait to see how hard she bombs when she hits the water again. Could be utterly insane as far as ECL's go.
Ps. Very jealous of all those on the mainland today. That storm didn't make it out to the island and it just remained totally feral the entire day

Windytv looks interesting for tomorrow morning

Meteye gave a good visual of Brisbane about 4pm, not quite so neat and tidy a rotation now.
