Had 23mm overnight saturday and the event total is around 105mm.

Very happy with that.... but I have to say I have never seen so much rain make such a slow impact on the dams. Things were really starting to move on Saturday night before it stopped again.

Will be keen for a nice slow moving storm or two today to add to the tally.

Big dam is up 2 foot, 4 foot to go. Everything now will make things really move quickly as all the little storages are full or almost full.

Definately some decent LI's and Cape around here today. See if it pays up.

Aye was gross last night.
We had some crazy orographic yesterday afternoon in the northern burbs.
With some heavy showers at times as soon as the sun set.

Woken to a semi sun. Time to contemplate the hay out front.

Oh and Jamberoo was great. Empty. Wet

I think we should end this thread and start a new one for events later this week if one seems warranted.

Here's Riverside Falls in Lane Cove National Park on Saturday. It is normally a trickle.

Funny that, no rain at all here last night. Woke up this morning to a little mist around, and there was even low cloud blanketing the top of the hill above Berkeley, about 120m ASL about 8am.

There were only a couple of records broken last night at the AWS's, namely Norah Head and Sydney Harbour. Moss Vale equalled its record.

Nice pic Steve.

Maybe they were leaking fuel.

Everything else leaks at Williamtown, like fire fighting foam, clouds etc.

Well, we had 16mm in the gauge Saturday morning, and another 6.5mm on Sunday, and bugger all this morning.

Something is better then nothing, just means I have to use my knobbly wheels on my mower to gain traction to keep the grass down. smile

6.5mm from a decent little storm last night around 21:00. Lots of CC lightning but not much bang to it once it arrived. Looks like lots more activity going on again today smile
