I don't think we got rain last weekend, it was a nice couple of days.

Btw, we have had 316mm for the month and this isn't even the wettest March we've had. For the year we have had 585mm at Albion Park but not nearly as much as Robertson with 960mm for the year so far!! Could be over 1000mm by the end of the month! shocked

No you are correct. Had 48 hrs or so of grace.
That saturday was steamy. Was in the pool. Perhaps the last swim of the season.

Nice pic Steve.

The old Norah site record remains at 23.4. But you are correct that the current aws march highest min was bested.
As far as Albion Park goes, howz that vodka tastin he he

Real get the crap burnt out of you today. Low grey dome stopping the infrared but not the UV. Still amazed by people who just dont get it that thinnish cloud gives a false sense of sun exposure safety.
Woohoo Dave. Bring on that slide to Winter baby

Afternoon all, had to go for a run over to Dubbo today. Around about lunch time (1pm or so) we had a pearler of a storm over there. Wound up with about 30mm in as many minutes where I was in town. A couple of nice close CG's as well smile

Seems to be going around us. Bugga! Was looking good but everything seem to be avoiding us.

Lol not very good, I've passed out 6 times already tonight.

Nah, but it just shows you how sure I was that the record would be broken. I hate vodka, even one shot with no other alcohol in the system almost makes me throw up.

WR,

You need to make bets about alcohol that you actually like!!!!
Then, even when you lose it, it ain't that bad.

What a muggy day today. It was awful. Sweating all day and t-shirt at work was drenched. And yes Knotty - that sun had some serious bite in it and the UV was up to bushfire level.

I've even put the air-con on tonight. Just for a while, to cool my body temp down. Even though the past week has been humid, the lower temps kept it bearable. Today though, with temps nudging 30, it was extremely oppressive. Whenever the sun came out it was downright uncomfortable.

Haha true that Homer, I'd possibly be drinking alcohol right now if I betted on some James Boag- if I could afford it lol!!!

Very muggy here too, but no sun at all to go with it. Still I have the fan in my room going. 27C was the max, accompanied by 23-24C dew points.

Lots of thunder around this morning - hoping for a repeat of that day of constant storms poke

Skies are about to burst any minute now.

Edit: Just noticed the dates on this thread - do we need a new thread, or rename this one? grin

Sydney OH just had another 23+ minimum and a 24 hour period without rain, only the 4th this month.

The March record minimum there at 25.4 is safe, but a 23 degree minimum in March has historically been about a once in 20 year event (95th percentile warmest March minimum is 23.1).

The weather here is the usual, warm, humid and overcast. The sun has made a couple of half-hearted attempts to break through.

P.S. I think that we are in a new event. This one seems to be more widespread, with impacts inland and further South.
