A click over 28c today , certainly going to be a warm night .
Tomorrow looking like 26c with Saturday 19c looking like the coolest day for some days.
Really warming up with 4 days of nothing but heat so far next week , what a crap start to March and Autumn after dodging the Summer . Mother nature having the last laugh , although March is the Month with 1891 , 1940 and 2013 all sharing the record of 22.9 c average.

Yes there are often "catch ups" in any season if one has been noticeably different to "normal" Will be interesting to see what your Autumn does. A brief look at the models said to me that you will have cool weather as well. Fronts cruising along at a latitude that should keep clipping you. smile

Hi all , 2 x 28 c days here and I've had enough . Next week is looking like a sustained Heatwave by Tas standards . Another very light Monsoon season this year may again lead to another 2013 repeat.

First half next week looking very warm compared to recent times indeed for Eastern side of state. Dry too.

Similar over the west as well - a tad cooler perhaps.

Don't know bout the light monsoon season MH2O. How did you come to this conclusion? Just your opinion?

"Kimberley locals go chasing waterfalls as record wet season continues" http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/kimber...223-gujx8v.html

"Overall, rainfall was above average in the Gulf Country, parts of the north, and in the west" "Some locations had their highest total January rainfall on record or in several decades."
http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/current/month/qld/summary.shtml

Regarding your heatwave, send it over here! I'll take it!

10mm P - gee hardly enough to get wet grin

However in your part of the state I'd reckon you would be thinking it is keeping everything dampened.

Mud Mud Mud - would be a constant companion over there.

Hi all,

Bit cool this morning with very little cloud about caused the temp to get down to 4.6 degrees, going for a top of 21 degrees today.

However looking hot as MH20 and WL mentioned, the entire weeks going to be a warm one thats for sure! Monday starts off at 29, then 30,30,30 and a little bit cooler on the Friday with 28 degrees, going to be a busy week at work I think.. grin

Had a job down at Ida Bay last week, was quite surprised as to how dry it was down that way, it's still fairly green around the dense bush, but very dusty and the grass is starting to brown off in the paddocks.

Not much in terms of fronts and low pressure Systems to bring any decent rain for a while, looking pretty boring tbh.. frown At least Summers finally making an appearance!

Current Obs: 15.6 C Baro, 1026.1hPa, NNW 14 km/h.

Very humid tonight, currently 17.9 degrees at 93% humidity.
Kinda over the constant sun to be honest.

Bizzare ol' weather. The last day of Feb was more than 3 degrees warmer than the next warmest day of the month and yesterday was more than 5.5 degrees warmer than any of the first 27 days of Feb and was also the first 30 degree day of the year at 30.2. The previous highest temp was 29.8 way back in early Jan. It was only the 3rd day over 30 this summer and the first since Christmas day - we weren't home for either of the the first two 30 degree days...

Should go close again today after a warm start this morning, a bit overcast so may take a bit to get going.

Hi all, been very settled weather over Tassie the past fortnight, very dry and warm here in the Southeast, not a cloud in the sky this morning! smile

In the past 10 days 7 days have been over 26 degrees out here at Brighton, 4 above 29 degrees with the max being 31.3 on the 28th of Feb.

Hey WL, you weren't wrong about the humidity the other night, it was really dry on the Tuesday (humidity down to 21%) it was 33% at 5.00pm however on the Wednesday night it was 54% again at 5.00pm although the temperature was around 28 degrees at that time on both evenings.

No rain recorded either the past 12 days, making the risk of Bushfire more of a possibility especially if we get a strong cold front in the next few weeks with warm and gusty Northerly winds ahead of it.. frown

Very light winds the past week apart form the usual seabreeze coming in during the late arvo gusting up to 30-40 km/h, looking like the possibility of some rain later next week with a weak low to come close to us, however not expecting a torrential downpour.

At least summers finally here! grin

Current Obs: 22.8 C, 1018.5hPa, light WSW.

I've got to say this boring weather is starting to get to me.. crazy

Current Obs: 17.3 C, 1017.5hPa, light SSE.

Been very warm here lately with excellent growing weather for the plants in the nursery.
Also becoming very dry with the last 13 days dry. Had some heavy dew including this mornings trace of dew.
Currently we have drizzle falling!!!!!!! Ya

Not much after tonight though! Think we may see 5mm here.

Looks like a bit of precip over the Central Highlands this morning.

Couple of warm days coming up - not much precip it seems.

Last 8 days we have averaged 26.6, included our two highest max temps and highest min temp for 2017. If it's dry until Saturday morning we'll have gone a month with just 1 light fall of 0.7mm on the 20th/2.... just 14mm since 20th/1. From super wet to super dry.

The big thunderstorms in the midlands/western tiers last week, passed just to the south of us - plenty on thunder, but no rain.

Weather has been so kind over here. Have just about lived outside the last week or so.

Longest dry spell since last year. When? Not sure. Will have a look at putting some stats up in the next day or so.
