dead calm here, not much to see, that lightning front is over
80km away and i just got a huuuuuge rumble. damn thing is
contracting south.....as predicted.
bloody typical, predict something good and it goes bad,
predict something bad and it holds rock solid.

yer still looks good for anywhere south a line Cummins/Pt Wakefield/Loxton today. Again some people will get nothing and others might see 10mm.
South East certainly the bulk of it, and the bulk of the storms as well, with rainfall higher obviously down there as well.

Sounds like I'll miss out once again. Standard. Either just to the freaking north or to just the freaking south. Haven't had a storm here since November mad mad mad

Can someone please explain the variation in rainfall readings from Adelaide Airport to 9am today. Adelaide Airport 1.0, Adelaide Airport Alert 21.

How far away are the gauges? The storms were very hit and miss, and it's a fair distance from one side of the airport to the other.

I be correct it was actually unconfirmed reports of 110mm in 3 hours as Lucindale got a bulk of the rain but this storm did pack a punch as a mate of mine who does one of the fire towers down this way got woken up after 3 am by a massive crack of thunder and a fair bit of lightning as Thunda said this weather system is like something you would see in Darwin which is correct

Are you getting any of it RS? Looks like there is still a little electrical activity heading your way...

Got a nice "little" dark looking cloud right on top of here right now - maybe some virga?

Yeah, nice clouds over the CBD from my vantage point:
