66mm last couple hrs, nice.
Them mushrooms keep popping, pity most are poisonous.
Dont know which forecast you referring to Blowin' , the one that made me cranky was on the 12th.
Tonight, well, they had the % right, the amount, doesnt matter. Rain is good rain, its rain that you dont expect which mattered to me.
Its still raining by the way, radar shows zilch.

Wouldnt that be fantastic, give everyone in eastern QLD a big solid drink, fill up dams & have people leave their cars at home & get around by boat.

This multi model image for the medium range forecast would be nice. CMC is just way off theres no doubt about that. You can see it on this map down the central qld coast. Inland looks more probable with the other major models.

It's the recurve back east to watch.
Ec and gfs hinting at it being captured by the trough and curving back to the Se earlier than previously and remnants and possibly forming a low as it reemerges somewhere in the southern half of qld.
We might get something out of it yet.
Good to see the forecast inland rain, hooray for that.

There is quite strong agreement between EC and GFS at the moment about the cyclone remnants being captured by the low and swinging out toward the coast. GFS and EC both have 100+ mm for SEQ with the heaviest falls on Thursday night and Friday morning. So we get a Cat 4 cyclone in NQ and a rain dump in SEQ to follow. How good is that!

The curvature in the EC ensemble is also generally consistent with those from some other ensembles (see below).
The 1st one is of the means of some of the ensembles.

It's going to come down to how much the remains curve, how far they come down and interaction with any approaching midlatitude synoptic systems:
