The Debbie emphasis will now shift to the southern half with flooding as BoM are saying after crossing the coast and weakening it will recurve and wander down towards Southern Qld possibly crossing back to sea near Rocky and continuing its southern movement but not reintensifying. However its southward movement will drag the monsoon trough down towards SEQ with possible flooding Rocky to the border with coastal inland areas affected as well.

I recall that site owner in the past saying something along the lines of that it gets "clogged" sometimes. It will probably start updating again once the site owner fixes the issue.
Aside from Weatherzone, one of the alternatives is Windytv which shows forecast model data from ECMWF 9km and GFS 22km.

Windytv is probably better than Stormcast.

After a long dry spell we have had good soaking rain the past weeks .Wappa Dam is overflowing and the Sunshine Coast hinterland is waterlogged.a rain depression wont take much for a fair bit of flooding
Water Temp is 2 deg warmer than the average to top it off
Will be an interesting week ahead

Seems to me some quite awesome possible rainfall totals thrown around atm, some places already waterlogged, some dry, but any tropical low/ ex cyclone coming from that direction is bad news for SEQ. Some serious mayhem coming thurs, fri & sat looming for SEQ. So happy living on a hill & not in low lying Marsden, Logan City. Gonabe an exciting weeks end. Watching witch great anticipation Atkinson Dam having some decent inflow, long drive to Somerset to tow the tube around & farmers getting some decent rain.

Definitely a great way to end off a wet March and an unexpected 100-150mm for SEQ, but should just be some flash flooding rather than any serious river flooding. System will move too fast to cause any dramas.

Wow this event looks awesome, might finally be the widespread heavy rain we've been waiting for. Trying not to get too excited as its still over 48 hours away but geez the forecasts and models are looking good. Last event did little more than 'greenify' the green drought. Dams and waterways round here are still bone dry, been a loooong time since the creeks around Kingaroy have had a flush.

As the track is now with the main low centre to track near Fraser Island should see some intense rain as it goes through for a period of 3-6 hours during Friday. Like rain rates getting up to 50-80mm/h near the low centre. Similar to Ex-Marcia Also depends how much pre-rain we can get being on the SE side of the low with moisture increasing from the NE. Hopefully I could get 200mm in one hit to fill up my dams.

With these types of events (low pressure systems heading south) there are two rain events. The first is the monsoon trough being pushed down, the second is the rain associated with the low itself.

Access barely has 30mm for us, GFS about 150mm, EC over 200mm. So anything from a couple days of light rain to a repeat of ex-oswald. Still looks like the first widespread general rain event in a very long time, rather then the patchy convective stuff we've had the past summer.

Also the combination of an upper trough an ex TC is also a nice mix with moisture being dragged in at a nice rate. We got close to 100km/h gusts with Ex Oswald, I'd be impressed if winds got up still this system is a beauty.
