Nice and cool out here, however I do not have my weather station up since we sold the house last year.

I imagine it may of been in the high teens, maybe. I am not one to gauge temperature as I am half Polar Bear.

Looks like a new record for average March minimum temps, coming in at 24.8c (prev. 24.3c in 1983).
Yesterday wasn't quite hot enough to get us to a new average maximum record for the month, but March did equal the previous mark of 32.3c, set in 2005.
This cool, dry weather is nice for a change but I think a Southerly 'flush' like this means the chances of any meaningful rain are out the window for this season.

I have been rehearsing for my Dry Season hibernation because some of my comments about the Brisbane floods on Facebook might have earned me a permanent ban on WZ if I posted them here. Its Brisbane, its built on a flood plain and for some unexplained reason people refuse to believe it can flood.

Dry Season and cooler weather? Maybe in a couple of weeks it might be out here in the Rasmussen Badlands but not today. Lol.

I grew up in Liverpool west of Sydney. We had floods every year, sometimes twice. Grafton and Lismore always had big ones. It seemed normal to me.

A wise man once told me "Never bet on the Weather, or what a Woman is thinking " Thought we were in for a wet March. But could only squeeze out 330.5 mm .Driest march since 2009 Last 5 year average for March is 830 mm. Gives us 1819 mm YTD

When Marcia came through I remember a lot of warm muggy weather afterwards, definitely wasn't cooler afterwards. Did Debbie suck up all the humidity as she traveled further?

Whilst in the northerly flow into Debbie we had DPs around 27C.

Two days after debbie was hot and muggy then the Sw change came in after she moved well south. Nothing unusual for a low now in the tasman. Moisture coming back in today.

Got to work in my shed for a couple of hours, sweating like a pig but what the hell its been months since I have been able to work out there and I'm getting as toey as a roman sandal to get some more wooden cars made for grandkids birthdays.

Muggy and hot tonight, we still have the aircons on to sleep with. Going to be a long dry season with nice weather (if you like that sort of thing) and the wait for the next Wet will be bloody agony.

Not a zot out my way either Mick.

So I am going for a minimum of 7C for Rasmussen with probably 2 days of light mists along Ross River in mid July and that's about the only highlight of the dry season I can see.

Oh I forgot the show and V8's bringing in multiple germ spreaders and the resulting flu epidemic Yay.

But at least it will mean I won't have to mow every 5 days.

Intense little burst of heavy rain for about 20 minutes in Mundingburra just finished. Looks to be heading towards Thuringowa.

My street completely covered after about 10 minutes.

This was after about 10 minutes of extremely heavy rain this afternoon. It was some of the heaviest rain I've ever seen and it was so loud on my roof that it startled me a little at first. It even did some damage to some of the guttering at my place. Pity it seems it was isolated to Mundingburra, Aitkenvale, Cranbrook area.

Quite windy at my place in Thuringowa tonight.
Gusts would have to be in the range of 50-60 km/h
