Well, what has April got for us? Hoping for some cooler dryer days for a little while.

Apart from woolies, there is nothing open in the Whitsundays by the look. I couldnt even get a coffee at Maccas. I havent seen any Ergon workers here yet and power lines down everywhere so it's going to be weeks before we get power.

Hope it's not too long for the power to be restored for you guys Rainrunner. Such a massive job for Ergon. I reckon they're doing an awesome job considering how many areas are affected, hey?

Rainrunner have you ever seen anything like the rainfall we got the day after the cyclone came through, we live probably 200 mt from the mill and our street flooded including the lower levels of our house, I cannot get accurate totals from anywhere near us not even the mills gauges recorded that properly from what i can tell. I think area's will be on generator for a long while before mains power returns to the area. Luckily we have one ourselves so we are managing better than a lot of others except the three bedrooms and bathrooms being flooded with bloody stinking sewerage that came back up the floor drains when the street flooded.

Thanks for sharing Trav. Looked like a wild ride. All good where we are in Mackay and Moranbah. We're very lucky.

Thanks Trav. Great to see the footage, keep up the good work. If any one has been up this way the rain forest between Eungella and Broken river n got the highest winds and has a lot more damage then during Ulluie.
